Key Highlights :

  1. Students having prior visa refusals from Australia are eligible.
  2. Students with gaps in their profiles will be accepted.
  3. All programs offered by ACBT are available in March, July and November intakes (March 2019 intake is still open).

Academic entry criteria :

Diploma Year 1 – Foundation Program: Completion of Senior Secondary Certificate (10+1) with 60%

Diploma Year 2 – Completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with second division pass

English language criteria : ACBT is not asking for an IELTS score, but an overall score of 5.5 or 5 is recommended, as this will ensure that the applicant has minimum English proficiency to cope with his studies in Australia.

 

Tuition Fee (including accommodation) : USD 3500 per semester

 

Important Points :

  1. Student will have to be in Sri Lanka till he completes 18 years of age.
  2. Students will have to study for at least 8 months in ACBT, Sri Lanka.
  3. Student’s visa, to progress to ECU, Australia will be lodged by ACBT, Colombo office.
  4. Students will have to apply for a resident visa to study in Sri Lanka (since they do not have a separate category for student visas).
  5. The applicant will have to pay USD 100 + one semester tuition fee to accept the offer.
  6. Students will have to carry USD 1500 and will have to get this currency converted in SLR (Sri Lankan Rupee) at the airport. They will have to maintain the receipt of this conversion.
  7. Classes will be conducted during daytime, evenings and weekend classes are also available.
  8. 80% attendance is mandatory.
  9. Students will have to purchase OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover).
  10. Cost of living is considerably low in Perth.
